BlackGold Too bad that design will no longer work in todays cars. Few can pull it off and right now Aston is one of them, the new DB11 looks a bit dated inside but at the same time there's enough going for it to make people not care

axel I love GranTurismo's exterior design, but the interior seems just outdated to me. The center panel looks odd and I don't understand why they still put buttons with numbers on the stereo system.

Meatballs Seems a bit too minimalistic IMO. Maserati may take a few shortcuts and use the GranTurismo's interior layout as a base for the Alfieri. Still clean, but there are buttons and knobs in the center stack.

axel I think we might not see any additional features in the interior design of upcoming Alfieri. Maserati may stick with its idea of having minimalistic interior style with only one main infotainment screen.

Meatballs There's only so much space on the steering wheel adn if MAserati sticks with the sleek and premium look, there's even less space on the outer edges of the wheel.

axel The best option for me would be the climate info on the dashboard display and climate control buttons on the steering wheel, so I can adjust them with my thumbs!

Meatballs I prefer knobs for certain things like climate control as I can easily adjust them by feel without taking my eyes off the road. But if those were touchscreen integrated then I'd have to look at the screen and even a split second could lead to an accident.

Button clicks are definitely important though. There's a certain satisfaction that I want to feel when you push any button. That's why sometimes I feel a little off-put my touchscreen things as you don't get that same satisfaction.
Agreed. It's something that you don't pay attention to, but I'm 100% sure that buttons have their own kind of satisfaction or pleasure when you touch (push) them. However, I really like the interior design of Ranger Rover Velar which has only two knobs and everything else is touchscreen.

BlackGold Well if what the Levante has looks cheap to you, get used to it. Most, if not, all models will be like that.

The only time I can imagine it getting different is on a sport model where an entirely different steering wheels is required.

Personally, as long as the button feels good when clicking, i'll be happy.
