Maserati is establishing itself as a very high end luxury brand by holding their unveiling there but are the people they invited from their targeted market?

Having existing Maserati customers take part in that event would be a good idea, just not sure if that's who was in attendance.

Maserati is in a sale slump and they're still funneling money into promoting their luxury brand. Maserati is partnering with a prestigious resort in Courmayeur. Tailor made vacation packages for the Maserati experience.

Also partnering with Libery London to give away $1,100 shopping spree at the department store.

They still need to keep up their image as a luxury brand even with a slump. Especially with the introduction of the Ghibli S and Quattroporte S.

Fortunately they're under the FCA umbrella, so if need be, funds to keep the momentum up enough can happen if it desperately needs to happen.

Well they are under the same umbrella. Don't see anything wrong with it as long as the switchgear is easy to use. Who knows, maybe the Levante or Alfieri will have their own switchgear design.

The only problem with that and these volume products is that's more likely to happen, if it was some product deserving of a flagship status, then we could expect change in that area.
