My guess is that right now they see that timing isn't right, that they have to wait for the right moment to talk about more. We'll just have to keep on waiting, hope you guys are patient!

Would be great to hear more during the winter months when everyone is glued to their computers and hibernating.

That won't happen till we hear more from Maserati since that's the next step here, aside from that it's going to be quite dead.

I could see the imperfection being in the driving experience. Perhaps it won't be quite as concerned with the suspension being super smooth, or the steering being power assisted. Stuff that will be in some ways less devloped than competitors, but in other ways will actually make a more authentic driving experience.

I don't think creating a car with worse driving experience is the direction they're going for. Doesn't make much sense for a luxury coupe.

Imperfections in the driving experience is the last thing they need, there's a growing amount of vehicles in the segment that take on a bit more focus on the experience, plus Maserati going for a nimble coupe here is sign of them wanting to improve on the driving experience.

I'm just trying to explain what the exec meant by not trying to be perfect. There must be something in particular he was referring to.

Either that or he just said something really stupid to the press.

Well imperfection in the driving experience equates to boring, they already mentioned they don't want that, aren't you familiar with the GranTurismo?

I mean then they are speaking in oxymorons. If they say it will not be boring but will be imperfect...

I'm just repeating what they are saying.

The dash cluster certainly isn't boring.
