Flawless All of their models are equipped with it, even down to the Ghibli. The Ghibli sounds quite satisfying if I do say so myself when it is in Sport mode. But darn... that Quattroporte would be the ideal family hauler.

Maze Listen to the Quattroporte exhaust in normal/sport mode. Sport mode starts at 2:04 and mind you this is a v6

That's not bad at all, and I'm sure this sound quality is of a potato. The GranTurismo sounds even more hellish. Can you imagine the Alfieri ?

Flawless Yup, but looking at everything now, they'll end up putting some sort of variable exhaust that you can either open and close like in the AMG GT or that'll change upon driving mode selected.

Guaranteed, it'll sound amazing. Look at everything Maserati is putting out now.

No doubt.

Odds are the concept was rushed and what we got was the result of that.

Being a GT car, in lower trims it should be quiet but as you go higher up into sportier trims then they start to have valid reasons to make it sound louder. A good example would be the direction Bentley took, perfect mix of GT and Sport, catering to a wide range of buyers out there.

BlackGold Tough to say at this point that's why I said it might not be the same as what we'll end up getting.

Just a reference point.

Trident I thought Maserati usually leaves the production model as close to concept as possible. Would the engine not be something that stays the same?

BlackGold It may not be an accurate sound to how the real thing sounds since things happen from now till when the product drops. Best to use it as a reference point instead.

Trident I actually like this sound, it's a low rumbling purr at low speeds and the short revs just gives you a taste of what it'll sound like when you floor the Alfieri.

V8 would be a great thing to have, that low torque and other great aspects of it in a smaller chassis, ESPECIALLY that they're aiming for a more sporty coupe.
