|Maze||I'm expecting the Alfieri in 2019ish|

|Meatballs||Depends on how long you're willing to wait too since the Alfieri is expected to come out in 2018. That's still a while off while their competitor, the Jaguar F-Type already has a 2017 model.|

The Cayman and even 911 are great if you want to go the really sporty route but cars like the AMG GT and Alfieri are a bit more along the lines of GT cars. It's a slight step toward sport and a slight departure from full on GT which Maserati and Mercedes has been used to for a long time now.
All depends on what you want and the range of vehicles you're willing to choose from.

|Maze||I even think those are bit far off. I was thinking possibly AMG GT or Aston Martin Vantage|

|Meatballs||What about the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 or the GT3 RS?|

What other cars are you looking at, aside from this?
I'm looking at the Jaguar Xe 2016

Maserati didn't release a due date so people could be waiting for a very long time and move on to other models. Is it a good move on their end? Maybe, depending on their financial situation but from my POV they're just driving potential buyers away.
I'm going to start looking for a new vehicle elsewhere unless they release something soon.

Definitely not surprise about the delay. With that being said, perhaps it'll steer the people waiting for this to other models/brands?
I don't know if I want to wait until it's out in the market now... might be a long wait.
